SHAPE

"Yet, O Lord, You are our Father. We are the clay, You are the potter; we are all the work of Your hand". Isaiah 64: 8

He is able to shape and mold your life for a good purpose. As what Isaiah says, "Yet, O Lord, you are our Father. We are the clay, you are the potter; we are all the work of your hand". Isaiah 64:8. Even though sometimes at the beginning stage, the shaping and molding process could cause some discomfort but ultimately it will bring a deep healing and restoration to our souls and spirits.

Our Potter has the ability to see deep inside and see the cracks that were formed in the inside. He always works from inside out because if the cracks or the scars on the inside are not dealt with properly, eventually what He wants to form or shape will never last till the end. Not only healing and restoration will take place during the shaping process but the Lord will add many flavors in our life. Normally when the potter finishes shaping the clay, he will start to color whatever he has shaped on the outside. Likewise, our heavenly Potter will not only shape the clay but He will add many beautiful colors on what He is shaping.

When the Lord shapes and molds our lives, He will enable us to experience many colors or awesome things in this life. Even the word SHAPE gives us deeper meanings. S - Spiritual gifts: The shaping process is very much connected to something spiritual. When He shapes us, He always desires to shape us with spiritual gifts. So that we can use the spiritual gift that He puts in us to bring glory and honor to His name.

H - Heart: As I said earlier, God works from the inside which is our hearts. He wants to shape our hearts to the likeness of His own heart that is full of love, compassion, forgiveness, patience and mercy. So that we might represent the Lord in this world. A – Abilities: When He starts a deep work in us, He always adds new abilities in ourselves so that we might accomplish the purpose He has for us. There must be a reason why the Lord chose to shape us the way He does. To fulfill the reason of the work of His hands, the Lord Himself will put some abilities in what He is shaping.

P – Personality: God wants us to have godly personalities and characters that will bring glory to His name and to be a testimony to the peoples around us. The Lord Himself a God of personality and character. E – Experiences: the shaping and molding process is not a one day process. It's a gradual or on-going process. In this process the Lord will bring and allow you to experience many things in life. Of all of life's experiences, when we look back we will be able to see His glory and His faithfulness. Your experience with the Lord in different seasons of life will be a lifelong testimony to touch many souls for the Lord. Ultimately, the Lord shapes us to be more like Him day by day. He shapes us so that we might be His feet and hands to lead the lost into His kingdom.
