Run To The Strong Tower

"The name of the LORD is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe." Proverbs 18:10

Do you know how strong and powerful the Name of Jesus? His Name is stronger than any other names, "Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." Philippians 2:9-11. The name of our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, has the power over sin, sickness, demons, death, poverty, and more.

The Bible says, "The name of the LORD is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe. Proverbs 18:10. What does that mean by a strong tower? Tower means a building or part of a building that is exceptionally high in proportion to its width and length. It is also one that conspicuously embodies strength, firmness, or another virtue. Basically, it talks about mighty strength and power. So the Bible tells us that the name of Jesus is so mighty, firm, strong and powerful. His name is above every situation and problem!

If you see in the second part of this verse, the Bible encourages us to run to the Name of the Lord, "the righteous run to it and are safe." In any situation we should "RUN" to the unshakeable tower, who is the Lord Almighty for solutions and protection. Today in this life most of the people will run to other source of solution instead of the solution Maker. The first thing they will do when they encounter problems, they will run to their friends, counselors, or pick up the wrong habits to solve their problem. And finally, after wondering around, they will come to the Lord. By the time they came to the Lord they would have wasted lots of time and energy.

What are you facing in your life at this moment? World's economic problems, retrenchment, financial difficulties, sickness, relationship problems, sinful life and whatever you can name as your problem, do not wait any longer. RUN to the Strong Tower who is our SAVIOR the LORD JESUS CHRIST. He has a solution for you. Surely He will deliver you and save you from all your troubles. Trust in His Name!
