If You believe, You'll See The Glory Of God

Then Jesus said, "Did I not tell you that if you believed, you would see the glory of God?" So they took away the stone. Then Jesus looked up and said, "Father, I thank you that you have heard me. John 10:40-41

God works or answers our prayers at His pace and time according to His will. Even if there are delays, we should not give up or doubt God's ability and availability. When doubt comes into your heart then it will be hard for you to see the glory of God manifest in your life. It will be like a huge wall that blocks you from seeing God's glory and it will disable you from experiencing His miracles.

The Lord said "Did I not tell you that if you believed, you would see the glory of God?" John 11:40. Lazarus, whom the Lord loved so much, was dead due to a sickness. Mary and Martha, Lazarus' sisters, were in deep sadness because of their brother's death and they were so hopeless and helpless. On His arrival, the Lord Jesus found that Lazarus had already been in the tomb and the tomb was closed by a huge stone for four days (John 11:17). The moment Mary saw the Lord, she fell at his feet and said, "Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died." John 11:32. Mary in her human capacity thought that only if the Lord could have reached the place four days earlier, He could have saved Lazarus from death. But the Lord requested the sisters to bring Him to the tomb where they laid Lazarus.

It was a cave with a stone laid across the entrance and Lord said, "Take away the stone," John 11:39a. But Martha tried to stop the Lord and she rationalized by her human understanding that the body of Lazarus had been there for four days and by that time there would be a bad smell of a dead body (John 11:39b). The Lord has to challenge her to stay in her faith through the obedience to His command to take away the stone (John 11:40). In other words, the Lord was commanding her to remove the stone of her doubt and unbelief because it was her unbelief that caused her to stop the Lord. Finally, when they removed the stone from the entrance, the Lord did a great miracle and brought Lazarus back to live again. The stone in front of the entrance of the cave is a symbol of a wall of unbelief or doubt. You see, the Lord commanded the stone to be removed first then only He performed the great miracle. What I'm trying to say is our unbelief will never allow us to see God's glory.

My Friend, are there any stones or walls of doubt and unbelief stopping you from experiencing God's miracle? What are the stones or walls that the Lord is commanding you to remove? It could be stones of doubts, stones of fear, stones of unforgiveness, stones of pride, stones of jealousies and stones of your stony heart! If you want to see a breakthrough and miracles in your life, remove all those stones and walls that are blocking your miracles. Just simply believe in Him and fix your eyes on His awesomeness. If you believe, you'll see the glory of God.
